You can also buy the trigger kits at Whittaker Guns in Owensboro, KY. By all reports one of the best places to buy a CZ - great selection, low prices, and they treat you right. In the United Kingdom you can get them from South Yorkshire Shooting Supplies, another highly recommended retailer.
The CZ Parts Kit contains 4 sleeves and 4 springs. The sleeves are 10, 12, 14 and 16 thousandths of an inch wall thickness. The springs are 4 different tensions and provided the following range of pull weights on my CZ 452 Special (your results will be different):
| Spring | Min Pull (lbs) | Max Pull (lbs) |
|---|---|---|
| No spring* | 0.50 | 0.50 |
| #1 Extra Light | 0.75 | 1.00 |
| #2 Light | 1.00 | 1.25 |
| #3 Medium | 1.50 | 1.75 |
| #4 Medium Heavy | 2.00 | 2.50 |
| Factory spring* | 3.50 | 3.75 |

As every gun is slightly different the parts in this kit will work differently in each gun. I recommend that any modifications to your gun be performed and tested for safety by a qualified gunsmith.
Remember when handling any gun to follow the NRA Gun Safety Rules. Always point a gun in a safe direction. Always keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot. Always keep the gun unloaded until it is ready to use. Follow the link for the rules in detail.
If you are interested in the process and techniques behind modifying the CZ trigger there is an article written by "Fuzzy Limey" that is one of the best descriptions I have seen at Fuzzy Limey CZ Trigger Mods Article. When using the sleeve method you do not have to remove the sear pin and chase the little ball. Instead you must remove the peened pin from the front trigger "horn". The sleeve replaces the aluminum tape in the Fuzzy Limey article. I'd also use a real punch instead of a nail. The springs in the kit drop in and not need any modification, however you should ensure that the one selected is safe and appropriate for your gun. The sleeves may or may not be appropriate for your gun - each is gun is different and the sleeves could be too thick for safe operation. Again a gunsmith should make and test any modifications to your gun.
