Bob Hahin designed and produced these bore guides for the CZ 452. They fit neatly in place of the bolt and guide cleaning rods down the center of the bore without bumping or scraping things. They come in two calibers: .22 for the 22 LR and 22 WMR models and .17 for the 17HMR and 17 Hornady Mach 2 rifles. They hold in place with pressure from the sear and will not fall out easily. They are made of Delrin.
The 453 has a different arrangement of the sear and requires a bit more pressure to move the sear out of the way and get the bore guide seated against the breech. Bob Hahin added a bevel when the 453 was introduced to make it easier to insert the guide.
Note: You still need to be careful of the ejector stop as it protrudes into the bore area.
